In 2016, Global Recycling Management, LLC was formed by Billy Limmer in San Antonio, TX. With a focus on developing complete innovative recycling solutions for its client’s while maintaining high-level customer service standards, Global Recycling Management has turned 1 facility, 2 trucks and a small number of customers into the thriving business it has become today. Being one of few national resource management firms that actually provides the service(s) it administers, Global Recycling Management can quickly address and respond to customer needs rather than shifting them onto third-party vendors. This industry awareness and over 100 years of management experience has positioned Global Recycling Management to lead the recycling industry efforts in reducing landfill waste and creating a more environmentally sustaining society.

Billy Limmer

Billy Limmer began his rendering and recycling career over 25 years ago with Darling International, Inc. (NYSE: DAR). In 1991 he joined Texas By-Products as a salesperson and helped grow the business to over 10,000 customers. At the time of his departure from Texas By-Products Mr. Limmer served as the Regional Director, responsible for operations in Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Shreveport, LA. Over the years he has developed and implemented grease collection, animal by-products recycling and waste water treatment solutions for companies including: Brinker International dba Chili's Bar & Grill (Dallas, TX), Chicken Express (Weatherford, TX) and Eddy Packing Co. (Yoakum, TX).
As CEO, Mr. Limmer is responsible for the overall direction of the company and has a hands on approach to all facets under his purview.
Richard Limmer
Vice President of sales
Richard Limmer began his rendering and recycling career over 45 years ago with Wayne Soap as a Fat & Bone Driver. He was later promoted to Routing Supervisor and in 1976 joined Valcar Enterprises as a Routing Supervisor. In 1987 Mr. Limmer joined Darling International, Inc. (NYSE: DAR) corporate office as their National Routing Supervisor. In 1991 Mr. Limmer left Darling International to help start-up Texas By-Products dba Griffin Industries, which later became solely Texas By-Proudcts in which Mr. Limmer would later become the General Manager of the Dallas Division. Mr. Limmer retired from Texas By-Products in 2016. A legend and stalwart of the Southwest Meat Association, Mr. Limmer's experience in the Fat & Bone industry and knowledge of trucking and plant operations is unparalleled.
